Description
CSO COBRA WIDE FIELD NON-MYDRIATIC FUNDUS CAMERA
COBRA is an innovative non-mydriatic digital fundus camera that combines all the needed functions for a fast retinal screening. By using a new optical system , COBRA provides high quality retinal pictures.
Designed with a very ergonomic shape, COBRA provides a clear and detailed vision of the entire ocular fundus, with a real 60° horizontal field of view. Pictures are acquired with a minimum flash exposition, thus by minimizing the examination time for the patient.
Cobra’s innovative optical system captures 15% wider retinal images than standard cameras. Clear and detailed view of the entire ocular fundus contributes valuable insights to your ocular examination. Images are acquired with minimal flash exposure providing comfort to the patient and facilitating multiple image acquisitions through undilated pupils. The high resolution CCD sensor (5 MP in the HD version) is both used for the patient alignement (with an IR source) and for the retinal picture acquisition (with a white LED flash and IR).
COBRA is connected to the PC by IEEE1394 protocol (Firewire type A or B), providing a very high speed data transfer.
Cobra’s high resolution CCD sensor is used for both patient alignment and for retinal image acquisition. High resolution infrared images are acquired simultaneously with the colour retinal image. Retinal analysis is facilitated by powerful Phoenix imaging platform allowing for: imaging and archiving features advanced image processing functions drawing and measurement tools mosaic function meibomiam glands dysfunction (MGD) analysis color Channel Separation DICOM compatibility
The color image is shown with the infrared image as well as 4 channels that have been isolated for enhanced diagnostics. The channels include: Red-Free, Choroidal, Vasculature, and Nerve Fiber.
